WELL. THAT'S A THING THAT JUST HAPPENED.

Incidentally, I had a new reader who was recently offering their thoughts and right around Chapter 8, they let me know that they despise Elias now, BUT despise in the best way possible? It's regarding how Elias has wrongly assumed Pete is responsible for his dad's disappearance.

I dunno, on the one hand, it's strange hearing a reader tell you in so many words that they openly dislike a character you created, but that it's done as a testament to the emotional investment they have to your story makes it special too.

Let's face it, having real-time feedback from fans as a story is playing out has become something of the new norm for creators. But it's up to the creators to decide if they want to satiate their fans' inquiries or string them along for what's to come.

(That said, I couldn't help but notice how many of my characters have been tagged for that 8 Facts Meme... hmm...) ^x^;
