The Faith n' The Blessings

Shimazu Yoshino, from Maria-sama ga Miteru - she's arguably my favorite character from the series; there's just something ~inspiring~ in her quirkiness and how she overcomes adversity. Doesn't hurt that widely accepted fanon thinks she's an obsessed closet wrestling fan. There's more than a feeew fanarts out there of Yoshino doing flying cross-bodies and Sweet Chin Music on people she disapproves of.

But, if I had it MY way, she'd be most like Shelton Benjamin. It sounds ironic at first, since Yoshino was physically weak from birth while Shelton's quite the opposite. BUT! it's her crazed (almost spontaneous) drive to be constantly better than she was that makes it work (not to mention how often the show snubs her out of the spotlight in favor of certain other characters...)
