Hah, thanks. (I'm trying to make it kickass but not go OVERBOARD, because then I'd have to color them that good on every single panel and AHHHHHHH-No.)
Hehe, I went totally hyperactive when I saw that you had updated this ^^. I love the layout of your panels and the consistency of this doujinshi... it's so cool. The detail of each picture makes it an enjoyable read, as well as creating an eye-catching and attractive page. The innocence ad keen expression on Korl's face in the last panel makes her one of those characters that you can't hate because of their under-development... this is really special.
Thanks. ^^ One key to good manga is letting the characters' expressions sell the story, not the words. (Hopefully, with this project I can continue to get better at it~!)
Wonderful, your comic back! Excellent!
Uhn, liked the posing, specially for the panel where you see them at distance, from the air ^^ Gives the sense of solitude and struggle from Korl...
And is nice see Korl again ^^ Great page! ^^
Yeah, I realized some of the lineart you see on these pages are ONE YEAR OLD now.
Whee! I'm glad you especially liked the faraway shot. I really want to get more practice on drawing scenery this year (and plus scenery plays a major role in this doujinshi). I was indeed going for a sense of desolation; for one thing I didn't want to draw more dead bodies on this page because it would've visually distracted from what was going on. (Although I guess that's why most manga is done in black-and-white, to minimalize distraction)
Korl's hair is a pain in the butt to color, since I don't use the Fill tool. XD
I like the coloring a lot. Very pro.
