Mega Man 6

My entry to the contest, way back in January. :3


Ahh, Mega Man 6. The franchise's (supposed) fond farewell to the NES console in 1993. I... I liked VI. It embraced the zaniness while being edgy. I ~guess~ one of the drawbacks of this game was that it lacked the mind-boggling difficulty of some of the earlier ones.

But man. The controls. The visuals. THE MUSIC. VI was well-suited for my gaming tastes.

Anyway, yeah, I settled on Flame Man, Tomahawk Man, and Yamato Man. A sample of Mega Man's most ...international (?) set of enemies. XD; I especially like Flame and Tomahawk Man. Respectively they represent Arabia and the First Nations: cultures that are often poorly represented in the media. Twas nice to see Capcom make those two robot masters capable fighters that made my childhood self GAME OVER time and time again.
Yamato Man wasn't as tough, but then I'm kinda glad Japan didn't make him an overpowered Gary Stu of a boss. |P
