Digimon Frontier crossover w/ Mo~tto! Ojamajo Doremi.

Yes, prepare to be confused. ^^; ^^; ^^;

Inspiration? 's fanfic Sweet Song ABC. <--Check it out, won't you. ^^
And Junzumi in general. Gosh I like that pairing. XD When it comes to Frontier, I also acknowledge the following: Takouji, Takouichi, Kouiji (a.k.a. KouKou), Takouiji (a.k.a. TaKouKou), and whatever-you-call-Takuya+Tomoki (*I only acknowledge them. I DON'T want to sound like one of those fen who supports Jenjuri just so I can justify Rukato.. @_@)
*sigh* But the vast majority of Frontier fen dismiss Shibayama Junpei like he's just a dirty-minded stalker. HE IS NOT. Lemme break it down for j00~

Point ; Counterpoint
-"Junpei fantasizes about Izumi a lot"; it's called a crush- and they're pretty innocent fantasies to boot (and if you noticed she's the one who fantasizes _herself_ in fanservice-y outfits ^^)
-"He's older kid so he shouldn't date younger"; Izumi likes to rub it in that she's a few months older than Takuya so she considers herself an 'older kid' as well
-"He's only staying in the Digital World because of her"; well yes this is true, but -wouldn't you know it- he gets to prove how nice a guy can be (Are you saying you're not okay with hanging out with nice people?)
-"He's always finding reasons to touch/bump into/catch a peep of her"; nearly all the times that happened, they were accidents (*and we ALL know Kouichi is the one who consciously wants to molest his brother, yeees?)
-"In the end he loses her to Takuya anyway"; well, if you support Takumi you are entitled to think that, BUT I'm just here to dispell lies & misconceptions about Junpei
-"Junpei is a fat, annoying loser so he doesn't deserve to be in a pairing anyways!"; okay, if you think this let me just say, first of all: how dare you -and secondly: HOW DARE YOU. T__T

Funny, I'm trying to convince you Junpei's not a perv and yet I've got him crossdressing (derp!) HOWEVER!! According to 'da rules of Ojamajo Doremi, they ARE technically wearing their default!clothes under the witch uniforms/patassiers; it's just hidden via magic. So it's allllll good! X3

I'm proooud to say this is my first, complete Flash movie *not* done in South Park-style animation (dig it!)
The backgrounds were made 100% in Photoshop 7.0; everything else you see was done in Flash 5. No scanning whatsoever was done. I highly advise you to turn off all other programs when viewing or the movie will lag and do not maximize the viewing window or it will lose resolution.

(*more sigh* with all this time and effort, I should have been trying to make something original but I didn't. For instance, has the right idea with his teardrop cartoon character.. [link] ) I'm such a hack. ^^;

OMG!! THAT IS JUST SOO ADROABLE!!! I love how you have all the guys dressed up and Izumi's expression when she saw the party. XDDD The boys looked great and the music was really nice too!! Awesome job and I am faving this!!

Now that was not only awesomely funny but awesomely cute. ^_^ And I think Tomoki is the only one who doesn't look totally awkward in a dress. XD

The expressions and motions were so cute, though on the boys they were also really funny. ("Damnit, they're acting like girls again!") And I like the background at the end, with the three moons over the house. That was a really cute/amusing touch. ...Gah, I wish I could think of more to say. It's too early in the morning... ^^;

I think I'm going to watch you now. XD

I can't get over how incredibly well-done and cute the backgrounds are...the houses look really adorable and well-made :) Cute animation overall(even though I don't know this season of Digimon at all), I like it lots!

If you haven't allready, I suggest you to do a google-search on "12 principles of animation", and you'll find twelve good points to think of when animating. I got to learn about these in my first Maya animation course, but it was made by Disney (I believe?) back in the day when they animated short films. I believe it's VERY useful :)

As for the animation itself...I believe it's supposed to imitate the style of an anime TV-series, so I guess you can get away with the fact that the characters aren't as richly animated as in a cinema feature animation ;) But I know that 2D animation is eternal pain, plus the artwork in this animation (characters, backgrounds) itself look really pretty, so yay!

Aahaha, you pimper. XD I got more hits on just about everything because of that...

Really fun, it was! :D I'm glad you added the character sheets and background stuffs at the end so I could more closely examine how you did these thiiiings. It still blows my mind that you re-did so many of those backgrounds... and so well, too! I could've sworn there were a few that you didn't need to redo, though, so you didn't, because some of the scenery!scenes look pretty pixelated. But that's not necessarily your fault. XD; It's probably a total bitch to find anything of good quality picture-wise in the OD fandom. I think this one time I did find an assortment of top-quality background scenes, but probably none from the actual Takaramono. All in all, though, you stayed pretty true to OD AND Frontier's design, though I'll always find some you-isms in the styles, but I think it's a good thing to have your own spin on a style. People who perfectly mimick other styles frighten me. ^^;

The most I've done in animation were the little blinky-heads I did of everyone ages back, so I can't really judge yours with having a lot to say. XD; I think you captured the motions pretty well, though, especially the part when Izumi does the SUPERGLOMP on Junpei! The fact that Bokomon and Neemon replaced Majorika and Lala in all this just makes it seem like you went down and PLUCKED! the OD characters right out of their element, then tossed the Frontier babies in. XD Adding Takaramono's instrumental to the Extras is also a nice touch.

I bet it was a bitch, doing this without any SP templates! But that's how you grow as an artist, j0! Though somewhere, deep down, I hope one day you'll use the SP templates for something again. XD They were just too cool to toss out. Just think, keep at it in Flash, even if you've got a doujin to dedicate yourself to, and you'll one day be able to be up in the ranks of Flash cartoons of l33thood! For like, serious!
